I am available to talk to groups of students about my books, my life as a writer, and my love of Shakespeare.
My books are appropriate for students ages 12-100.

MY FORMER LIFE AS A TEACHER
Before trading my marking pen for a keyboard, I taught courses in writing and English literature to students at Indiana University (where I got my Ph.D.) and The Ohio State University.
Shakespeare was the course I taught most frequently.
I sometimes miss teaching and would love to be with your students--just don't ask me to grade their papers!

---Writing as creative imitation
---Doing research for historical fiction
---Shakespeare's women

I will tailor my talk to the needs of your particular students and the size of the group.

I allow time for questions and answers and discussion.

I can include a writing activity with my presentation if time permits.
